  • How do I create a group?

By creating a group you can see a consolidated view of several portfolios.

    1. Suppose you want to combine the portfolios of Sudhir and Neesha into a group, click on "Open Group"

    2. Select "New"

    3. Enter the name you want for the group and select the portfolios to include then click on "Save"

    4. Open the group you just created.

    5. Now you will be a group with the consolidated holdings of Sudhir and Neesha in Shah Family(G). (G) means group. Also, the little icon to the left of Reliance Industries means that both Sudhir and Neesha have that stock in their portfolio.

I have followed this process. In the Group view of portfolios, some assets have the icon indicating multiple holdings across portfolios for a family. However, when I double click it, it shows holdings for a portfolio where no quantities are entered. I do not have any holding in the second portfolio (not even past holdings) but the icon appears in the Group view. How to resolve this?

      Dear Asha,

You can try un-link the portfolios from Group and delete the Group portfolio. Create a new Group again and link the portfolios again.

Let us know if this resolves the issue.

          Dear Asha,

          To delete a group:

          1. Close the group Portfolio.

          2. Goto Edit Master -> Edit Group List

          3. Select the group and select Edit

          4. Uncheck the portfolios associated with it then select Save

          5. Select the group name and select Delete

            Hi,

I have two portfolios for which I created the group. When I get to step 4 I am unable to save if I uncheck both the portfolios. MProfit Fatal Error : No members selected, please select minimum one member.
