You can import an ODIN trade file once you have created the special file format we require. This is a one time step that will take 5 minutes to complete and then it will only take seconds to import the data.

Create ODIN Profile for MProfit (one time only)

1. From the ODIN windows trading application hit F8

2. Once the Trade window appears, right click and select Column Profile

3. Enter "MPROFIT" in the Column Profile Name box

4. The selected columns, in the exact order should be:

Client Name
Client
Exchange Code
TraderId
Instrument Type
Code
Symbol/ScripId
Spread Symbol
Ser/Exp/Group
Strike Price
Option Type
Scrip Name
B/S
Quantity
Price

5. Then Select OK and select Yes to save the column profile

To import the ODIN daily trade file

1. From the ODIN windows trading application hit F8

2. When the Trade window appears make sure the MProfit column profile is active

3. Right click and select Copy

4. Open Excel and paste the data into Excel and Save as "Excel 97-2003" or CSV

Important - This file does not have date, so you are supposed to import daily trade file. If you want to import previously saved files of other dates, you need to modify the excel file by adding the date. See the screenshot below for your reference:





5. From MProfit Software use "ODIN - NSE F&O" Template to import it.
